listening to this interpretation of gershwin's rhapsody in blue which i'm really hooked onto, but god knows which orchestra/pianist or when it was recorded because i got it from a burnt cd. amazingly unusually fast at some corners, with super heavy rubatos that accentuate the spirit somehow. talking about interpretations, i guess its what defines you and your style as a musician or conductor or performer or whatsoever, sort of the one thing that can make your music stand out from the rest. sadly not applicable for the amateur musicians like me yet, not just yet. craving to be involved in ensemble music.

"In my opinion, the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you, the right person will still think the sun shines out your ass. That's the kind of person that's worth sticking with."

just caught 'juno'. its a refreshingly good show. lots of intelligent and/or funny lines, dashed with bits and pieces of humour.

happy birthday mr yeo!
